- - Coinbase text says someone tried to access funds and to call 0888-906-****.
- - I called the number and was hung up on; the agent did not address my issues.
Received a text message from Coinbase saying that someone was trying to ascertain funds from my Coinbase account and to call 0888-906-**** to customer service. I called the number and got hung up on purpose several times. The agent would not address any of my issues and refused to carry on a conversation with me.
User's recommendation: Do not hang up a customers!!!!
Debit card issues
Message says phone support is unavailable. That means CB is unwilling to engage with clients and prefers to hide behind screens.

- - Celsius asked to create a Coinbase account to transfer Bitcoin.
- - UK passport verification fails; country mismatch.
- - User lives in Tanzania; funds awaited.
When I was travelling in South Africa, I received an email from Celsius to create a Coinbase account, so that my Bitcoin can be transferred to Coinbase. When I got to the steps to verify my ID using my UK passport (I am British), it failed to verify with a message stating that my ID does not match my country.
I have tried but failed on several occasions to change my country to the UK and to verify my passport. I would also like to point out that I am currently also working and living in Tanzania.
Please can you help me sort this issue out because I have recieved a message from Celsius stating that this must be sorted in order to receive the funds.

- - Account restricted since funds moved from Celsius.
- - I provided all documents to Compliance and contacted support and I am still restricted.
Since my funds were transferred from Celsius, my account has always been restricted. I have always responded to the Compliance Team's emails and provided them with the documents requested, but still, my account is restricted.
I need the funds to help my son at university. I have emailed and used the support chat on many occasions, and I just feel ignored!
- Compliance team are terrible and ignore your emails
Preferred solution: I want my account to be unrestricted so that I can withdraw my funds and close the account!

Tried to contact them several times to have a return call conversation concerning storing my assets on a cold wallet. No responses after a few weeks now. Please get them to cooperate!!

I got hacked for $70k. I had lost all hope as Coinbase customer support offered no help.
I had to enlist the service of Cyberdecryptor @***.me to recoup my funds. I am not really satisfied with their service.

Never trust a company like this who allows someone to steal your hard earned money out your checking and savings, and let them sell what they put in. A total of over $11,000. Point blank this was FRAUD !!!!!!!
Coinbase allows someone to apply for this under stolen money/fraud. By the use of stolen information and a bank account, it was applied for illegally and without even if the real person applied for it, which I never did! Never have I ever done so!

Tried to open an account but the system is not recognizing my ID and residency document correctly.
There is a Chinese name and an English name on my passport. I tried uploading documents with either my Chinese name or English name, both got rejected, saying "the name is wrong".
Worst part is, when I try to reach customer service but no matter how I click on the site it does not take me to customer service.
I tried the normal help route, and even try to submit a complain but everytime I'm taken back to the Help Center page.
If I select a question in Help Center, on the bottom of the page where it says "Contact Us", there's nothing there!
It's completely empty. No where you could actually click to contact them.
The system is so damn stupid that I don't want to open an account anymore.
